Doha to Bangkok

Ok, same church, different pew, Seat 19H, an aisle seat so the old bladder was happy about that. No kids this time and I didn't look like a minority. Again beautiful airplane, good food, attentive flight attendants and a great flight.
Watch only one movie, The BFG, think the kids would like it. Funny, I swear Spielberg made the Big
Friendly Giant look just like George W. Bush! Or maybe it's just me? Played chess on my phone most of the rest of the time.

Cleared security at Bangkok International and have an almost 5 hour layover so headed right to the lounge. There are several at this airport but the closest was Oman Air Lounge
My workspace in the lounge
and they take my Priority Pass. Skipped the last meal on the plane again so I could enjoy something at the lounge. Started with fresh fruit. As I am sitting here a young lady brought me a wet towel to freshen my hands. How nice!

Ok, for round two, a glass of chardonnay, some assorted nuts and other goodies. Damn, this third world traveling is tough! Actually, I can't wait to get on the next plane for the 1 hour and 20 minute flight to Mandalay, get to the hotel and take a nice shower.

Nathan, who I mentioned in the first post, is the workshop leader and professional photographer, is supposed to be on the same flight as I to Mandalay. Looking forward to seeing him and maybe get a jump on what we will be doing beyond what the itinerary says. Well, now it's just "hurry up and wait" for the next flight.

Hope internet availability is this good in Mandalay.
