This guy was selling some kind of spices. Great face! |
After lunch we took a little stroll in the country. About 8 miles worth up in the mountains! Saw this gentleman working his cabbage patch and took a few pictures. Then he approached me and offered me a few avocados, from his tree. Ko Ko said he wanted to make sure I knew they were organic, no pesticides and that they would ripen in 5 days. They were beautiful and large and heavy and I was already laden down with heavy camera equipment, but how could I refuse his generosity? So I stuffed them in my pockets and thanked him and took his portrait.

Found this lady working in the fields |

Cute kids and interesting looking old guys abound everywhere. Wonder if they would say the same thing if they came to visit us.
Finally it was time to depart the village. It had taken hours to get there on foot and we were leaving by a different path and it was starting to get dark.
